Start here

What Vallo isA marketplace for homes, property, stays and restaurant tables across Nigeria. One account, two sides, and the rules that apply everywhere.5 sections
Quick startThe first few steps for each kind of person: renting or buying, booking a stay or a table, letting your own property, working as an agent, hosting, or running a restaurant.7 sections
Your account and workspacesCreate an account, sign in, fill in your profile, and add a workspace to list, host or work as an agent. One account holds one side.5 sections
Getting around the appThe dock and its tray, the menu, light and dark, and the motion setting: how the app is laid out on a phone and a computer, and how to make it look and move the way you like.4 sections

Renting and buying

Search, filters and the mapSearch property and stays, use the filters (power and water too), switch to the map, save places and searches, and share a search by its link.8 sections
Reading a listingWhat is on a listing page: the move-in total, highlights, amenities, the gallery, who listed it and how to reach them, light and water, and the gate.14 sections
ViewingsSee a property before any money moves: schedule a visit in person or by video, follow where it stands, get reminders, change the time or cancel, close the visit, and what to do if someone does not come.9 sections
From viewing to keysRenting or buying, step by step: the viewing, the inspection report, the agreement you both confirm, paying with Escrow or by card, and moving in.6 sections
Price CheckWhat similar properties near a place are currently advertised for on Vallo, how sure the answer is, and the honest answers it gives when it cannot say.4 sections

Stays and restaurants

Booking a stayBook a hotel room, a shortlet or a serviced apartment: see the full price first, pay inside Vallo, get the gate details, and check the place when you arrive.8 sections
Restaurants and tablesBook a table for free, what the restaurant confirms, your check-in code, paying your bill, and how a restaurant runs its tables on Vallo.7 sections

Money

What Vallo costsFree to use and free to list. Vallo charges only on a completed deal, from the lister's or host's share. The hotel commission, the restaurant fee, and the optional Pro plan.7 sections
How paying worksEvery payment happens inside Vallo. Escrow or card for rent and shortlets, escrow for a sale, card for a hotel room, and Vallo never holds the money.11 sections
Cancellations and refundsHow to cancel a stay, a table or a viewing, which cancellation policy applies, how to ask for a refund and when it reaches you.7 sections

Listing and hosting

Listing a propertyChoose your workspace, post a listing with photos and videos, see what you will receive, and what happens when Vallo reviews it.11 sections
For owners and landlordsList your own property with no agency fee: the owner workspace, your ownership document and the Ownership seen mark, viewings, agreements and getting paid.5 sections
For agents and firmsApply as an agent or a registered firm, climb the verification ladder, list for owners, publish viewing times, work your enquiries and get paid.8 sections
Hosting a hotel or shortletSet up a hotel, shortlet or serviced apartment: review, the rules every host agrees to, rooms, rates and the calendar, bookings, charges at the door, check-in and getting paid.10 sections

Messages and tools

Messages, calls and notificationsMessage a lister, host or restaurant, reply, forward, delete and call from a thread, handle Requests, and choose what reaches you.7 sections
The assistantWhat Vallo's assistant can do for you, what it never does, how to read its answers, and what happens to what you type. It never acts without your approval.5 sections
Around: places, posts and peopleJoin the places you live and work in, from your local government to your estate or campus, and post, ask and read what people there are saying.9 sections

Trust and privacy

Badges and verificationWhat the verification ladder, the Ownership seen mark and the badges mean, how each is earned, and their limits. A badge is not a guarantee.6 sections
ReviewsWho can review a stay, a table or a tenancy, how a host replies, and what happens when a host asks Vallo to look at a review.5 sections
Avoiding scams and reportingThe few habits that keep you out of trouble, how to report a listing, a person or a post, and what happens after you do.7 sections
Privacy and your dataWhat Vallo holds about you, who can see it, the rights the NDPA gives you, and how to delete your account.5 sections
TroubleshootingThe things that go wrong, what they mean, and what to do about each one.11 sections

Where else to look

Help centreShort answers, searchable, plus a way to reach a person.
GuidesLonger reads for renters and guests: scams, move-in costs, renting in Lagos and Abuja, and how stays work.
CancellationsThe standard refund schedule for stays, and the four policies a host business can pick.
Terms and privacyThe formal documents. Where these docs and a policy differ, the policy governs.
