Free to use, free to list
Making an account, searching, saving, messaging and asking to view are free. Listing a property, a stay or a restaurant is free.
Nobody has to pay a monthly subscription to use Vallo.
Vallo charges only on a completed deal
Vallo's commission comes out of the host's or lister's share. It is never added to your price.
A renter, buyer or guest pays exactly the listed price. Before a lister publishes, Vallo shows them what they will receive after its commission, in naira.
Vallo charges no inspection fee. Viewing a property through Vallo is free.
The hotel commission
Vallo's commission on a hotel room is 10 percent of the booking. It comes out of the hotel's share when a booking is paid, and is never added to the guest's price.
The restaurant fee
Booking a table is free for the diner.
Vallo bills the restaurant ₦1,000 for each table seated from a Vallo booking, once a month. A no-show or a cancelled table costs the restaurant nothing.
The Pro plan is optional
Vallo offers an optional Pro plan. You never need it to list, to book, to view or to get paid, and nothing you need is locked behind it.
See every cost before you book
You pay exactly the listed price. Every cost, including any charge at the door, is shown before you book.
A host or lister must not charge anything that is not listed on Vallo, and must not add a charge without a stated reason. If someone asks you for a charge that is not listed, do not pay it. If an owner or agent asks you for a fee to inspect, that is a private arrangement between you and them. It is not a Vallo charge, Vallo does not collect it, and you can report it to us.
Who holds the money
Vallo never holds customer money. Licensed payment partners hold payments and escrow. See How paying works.
